About

Hi! Welcome to Bahasa Go!

Are you learning a new language for self-interest? what language are you learning now?

I have been learning few languages, some I came to master, some I gave up. English was the first foreign language I learned at junior and high school in Indonesia. But, my next languages, Japanese and Arabic, are languages I teach myself. I did go to language schools, but intermittently. Usually when I was stuck on a particular part, like when I was having trouble learning the Kanji characters of Japanese. Or when I was lost at how to know the right diacritics in Arabic. But after I overcome the problem, I usually came back to self-study.

If you are doing a “teach-yourself a language”, you may be writing a “learning journal”.

This website is my Learning Journal. While at the same time, it is also my Teaching Journal. In my Learning Journal, I am sharing my progress in my Japanese and Arabic learning. While in my Teaching Journal, I am documenting new experiences on teaching Bahasa Indonesia, in English and in Japanese.

So, I hope you may find some insights form my learning process. Or better, we may share experiences in learning a language. Or if you happen to be learning Bahasa Indonesia or Japanese, I hope you can find materials I am sharing in the resources page useful.

Either way, I hope you can learn something from this website, and if you have any question or a suggestion, write me a comment or you can reach me from my contact page!
